Make a Bouquet For Your Front Door

When it comes to spreading summer color, think beyond flower beds and window boxes, and create a gleeful bouquet for your front door.

Though a wreath is a natural door front go-to, stylist Tracey Runnion opted for a more relaxed composition to mimic the season’s carefree spirit. First, fill a mason jar halfway with water, then add a profusion of summer flowers, such as pink dahlias and zinnias, globe amaranth, yellow cockscomb, trumpet vine, explosion grass, pink astilbe, fuchsia ranunculus, and helenium. Place the jar upright inside a purse or a cloth bag, and carefully hang as a warm welcome to summer company.
