There's nothing better in the summertime than hot-off-the-grill ribs.

Barbeque Baby-Back Ribs

Makes 8 servings

1 1/2 cups ketchup
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/3 cup minced onion
1/3 cup Worcestershire Sauce
1/3 cup cider vinegar
2 tablespoons liquid smoke
1 tablespoon chili powder
2 teaspoons dry mustard
1 1/2 teaspoons coarsely ground pepper
Vegetable cooking spray
7 to 8 pounds baby-back pork ribs
1 teaspoon salt

1. Combine first 9 ingredients in a medium bowl, stirring well with a wire whisk. Set aside 1 cup sauce.

2. Coat grill racks with cooking spray and place on grill over low coals.

3. Sprinkle ribs with salt. Place ribs on rack and grill, covered for 25 to 30 minutes, turning frequently to prevent burning. Baste ribs with sauce and grill an additional 10 to 15 minutes, turning and basting ribs frequently with sauce. Remove from grill, and cut into serving pieces. Serve with reserved 1 cup sauce.
