Garnish with watermelon wedges, if desired. Simple SyrupMakes 1 1/2 cups1 cup sugar 1 cup water 1. In a small saucepan, combine sugar and water over medium-high heat, stirring constantly. Bring mixture to a boil; reduce heat to low, and simmer for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, and cool completely. Pour into an airtight container. Store syrup in refrigerator for up to 3 weeks. |
