Amaretto Café Latte
MAKES 2 SERVINGS
Ingredients
- 2½ cups whole milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup freshly brewed espresso
- ¾ cup amaretto (almond-flavored liqueur)
- Garnish: sweetened ground chocolate
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine milk and vanilla extract over medium heat. Whisking constantly, heat milk for 5 minutes, or until milk begins to steam; do not boil. Remove from heat. Add espresso and amaretto, whisking to combine. Garnish with sweetened ground chocolate, if desired.
