Built by George Vanderbilt in 1889, Biltmore® is among the premier landmarks of the South — a destination that embodies a unique blend of architecture, design, and sustainability that remains vibrant today. In creating Biltmore®, George envisioned a private, peaceful retreat where family and friends could relax and enjoy all the comforts of home, including the refreshing beauty of the natural world.

It is in this spirit that the newest chapter of the home’s continuing story begins. Outdoor furnishings company Castelle has partnered with Biltmore® to evoke its romance and history through a group of luxury collections that take inspiration from the classic architectural elements that grace the Asheville, North Carolina, mansion.

Biltmore Collections by Castelle

Castelle’s Biltmore collections draw upon various design elements from Biltmore House and its grounds, all of which convey the timeless opulence of the estate. From classic latticework elements on the grand Loggia to the historic barn in Antler Hill Village to one of the earliest electric Otis elevators, these products — all designed for relaxed yet elegant outdoor living — reflect an important aspect of America’s Largest Home®.

Preserve Collection (2020)

Biltmore Inspiration: Otis elevator

The Preserve Collection pays tribute to the legacy of quality and design featuring hand-forged and hand-turned details directly inspired by a complicated design in one of the elevators in America’s Largest Home®. Much like the artisans who created Biltmore more than 125 years ago, the Castelle craftsmen worked diligently to recreate this intricate detail for the Preserve Collection, proving craftsmanship, beauty, and quality are timeless.

Antler Hill Collection (2019)

Biltmore Inspiration: Antler Hill Village

Biltmore’s Antler Hill Village is anchored by a century-old horse barn that was once the hub of work and social life for estate families, who lived in charming farmhouses and cottages in the surrounding area. Inspired by these historic structures, the Antler Hill Collection offers a casual way to bring home the Vanderbilt legacy of gracious living.

Estate Collection (2018)

Biltmore Inspiration: Classic latticework on the grand Loggia

The Estate Collection is inspired by architectural design and latticework on the Loggia and Library Terrace of Biltmore House. With a true commitment to quality, thoughtful design, and timeless style, the collection is carefully curated through fabrics and finishes to provide products that are relevant to modern lifestyles and as beautiful as they are functional in the very outdoors that George Vanderbilt so loved.
