Serves: about 2 ½ Cups
  • ½ cup butter, at room temperature
  • 8-ounce package cream cheese, softened
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • ¾ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped pecans (optional)
  1. Cream butter and cream cheese. Gradually add sugar and vanilla. Beat until smooth and creamy. Add pecans or sprinkle on top of frosted cake if desired.
