Cinnamon-Molasses Sauce
  • 6 tablespoons firmly packed light brown sugar
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ¼ cup heavy whipping cream, room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon molasses
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
  1. In a medium saucepan, bring brown sugar and butter to a simmer over medium heat, whisking until sugar is fully dissolved, 3 to 5 minutes. Add cream, molasses, cinnamon, and salt. Whisk mixture until cream is fully incorporated and beginning to simmer, about 5 minutes. Serve warm.
