Lavender Simple Syrup
Makes 1 cup
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lavender blossoms
  1. In a small saucepan, combine water and sugar. Bring mixture to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to medium, and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat; add lavender, and let cool completely. Chill for at least 2 hours. Strain mixture, and store covered in refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.
