Iced Tea Bar

For a fun non-alcoholic option, set up a station with unsweetened iced tea and a selection of sweet syrups.

Simple Syrup
 
Makes 2 cups
Ingredients
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups sugar
Instructions
  1. In a small saucepan, bring 2 cups water and sugar to a simmer, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Refrigerate until completely cool. Syrup will keep in an airtight container for up to 1 month.

Lavender Simple Syrup
 
Makes 4 cups
Ingredients
  • 4 cups water
  • 2½ cups sugar
  • 1 cup lavender blossoms
  • ¼ cup blueberries
Instructions
  1. In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups water and sugar to a simmer, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat, and add lavender and blueberries; steep in liquid for 20 minutes.
  2. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve, discarding lavender and blueberries. Refrigerate until completely cool. Syrup will keep in an airtight container for up to 1 month.

 
Raspberry Simple Syrup
 
Makes 2 cups
Ingredients
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 (6-ounce) containers raspberries
Instructions
  1. In a small saucepan, bring 2 cups water and sugar to a simmer, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat, and add raspberries, crushing slightly. Steep in liquid for 20 minutes.
  2. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve, discarding raspberry pulp. Refrigerate until completely cool. Syrup will keep in an airtight container for up to 1 month.
