This peach sipper is a delightful beverage to enjoy during the warm and breezy days of spring and summer.
Peach-Infused Sweet Tea
Makes 2 quarts
Ingredients
- 3 fresh peaches, sliced
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 6 cups boiling water
- 3 iced tea bags
- 2 passion herbal tea bags
- Garnish: fresh peach slices
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, bring peaches, sugar, and 1 cup water to a boil over medium-high heat. Remove from heat; cover and let steep for 30 minutes.
- Strain mixture into a 2-quart pitcher. Add 6 cups boiling water, iced tea bags, and passion herbal tea bags. Let steep for 6 minutes. Let cool completely. Serve over ice. Garnish with peaches, if desired.
